Below is a trial report on Cherry Tomatoes conducted independently by Peracto (now Kalyx) in Welshpool, Western Australia. Verigrow 2017 in Cherry Tomato Trial This trial compared the effects of Verigrow Fertiliser and Soil Improver with Seasol on plant growth and soil health. The results revealed that tomato plants treated with Verigrow Fertiliser and Soil Improver exhibited 2 to 5 times improvement in all measured parameters compared to the control group and those treated with Seasol. The measured parameters included plant height, biomass, NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), and weights of roots and foliage. This trial was the first controlled study on Verigrow, confirming its effective fertilising properties.

The results demonstrated that applying Verigrow at 40 L/ha significantly improved turf condition compared to the control. The total nitrogen content at this Verigrow treatment was 28.8 units of N, compared to 107.6 units of N for the Sir Walter granular fertiliser. Consistent with independent broadacre trial results, a lower level of nitrogen is sufficient to achieve excellent results. Based on these findings, we recommend an application rate of 60 L/ha. Additionally, the trial indicated that in well-irrigated areas, an application rate higher than 10 L/ha of Verigrow Soil Wetter is necessary to see substantial results. We recommend an application rate of 20 L/ha based on these findings.
