Melaleuca quinquinervia

Recognised as the Broad-Leafed Paperbark or the Punk Tree, this medium sized tree forms with a spreading canopy. Popular for the peeling pale orange-brown paper like bark. The dark green leaves give a good background to the creamy-white to pink flowers that are borne in spring and then occur spasmodically throughout the year. An excellent tree to encourage nectar eating birds & insects into the garden.
