Gleditsia triacanthos - Lime Gold

Gleditsia ‘Limegold’ is a stunning, medium-sized deciduous tree, perfect for providing dappled shade and a cooling effect in the landscape. Its graceful, fern-like foliage emerges in a vibrant golden hue during spring and early summer before transitioning to a refreshing lime-gold in the warmer months. This thornless variety produces small, inconspicuous green raceme flowers in spring, followed by large brown seed pods that often persist into winter, adding to its ornamental appeal.
